Southern Cross on the Flat Earth

Southern Cross on the Flat Earth.png

1. Someone in NZ watches the Southern Cross rotate clockwise through the night

2. Later, someone in Africa watches the Southern Cross rotate clockwise through the night

3. Later still, someone in South America watches the Southern Cross rotate clockwise through the night

No one sees the Southern Cross travel from their eastern horizon to their western horizon. They see only ever see it rotate clockwise.
Are there three Southern Crosses?
Well, anyone in the Southern Hemisphere can see it by looking south. So are there thousands?
Millions?
If so, then why do we only ever see one?

The solution is that the earth is a globe. All three of us are looking south to stars that are far, far away.
